One clear next step
A finder should understand what to do within seconds, without downloading an app or creating an account.
Why ReturnKind exists
ReturnKind began with a personal lost-passport experience and one simple question: why is it still so difficult for a finder and an owner to reach each other safely?
A kinder recovery path
A lost passport can turn an ordinary journey into a stressful one. At the same time, a finder may want to help but have no safe way to contact the owner, especially when they speak different languages.
ReturnKind creates that missing path: a private recovery QR, no-account messaging for the finder, multilingual owner–finder conversation, and direct contact only when both people agree.
What guides us
A finder should understand what to do within seconds, without downloading an app or creating an account.
Email addresses and phone numbers are never exposed automatically. Secure ReturnKind messaging comes first.
Original messages are preserved while translations help owner and finder communicate in the language each person prefers.
ReturnKind can help with recovery contact, but it never replaces passport authorities, embassies, police, airlines or immigration procedures.
Editorial standard
Our public guides use current information from government passport offices, foreign ministries, embassies, airports and other responsible authorities. We show an updated date and link to the official sources so travellers can verify the rules for their nationality and location.
Travel and passport procedures change. If something in a guide appears outdated, please tell us at help@returnkind.app.
